Meet Dr. Armin Hage
Dr. Armin Hage is a graduate of the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and a Diplomate of the International Academy of Dental Implantology. Since discovering his passion for implant dentistry in 2004, he has dedicated his career to helping patients restore their smiles through advanced dental implants, full-mouth reconstruction, and comprehensive restorative care.
Recognized as both an accomplished implantologist and educator, Dr. Hage places thousands of dental implants each year and has trained hundreds of dentists in advanced implant surgery and restorative techniques. His commitment to excellence and innovation has earned him the respect of both patients and fellow dental professionals.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hage is an accomplished artist and sculptor. His passion for creating detailed sculptures and realistic scale models reflects the same precision, creativity, and attention to detail he brings to every smile transformation. He believes dentistry is both a science and an art, combining function, aesthetics, and craftsmanship to create natural, confident smiles that are uniquely tailored to each patient.
Meet Dr. Yasmin Zand
Dr. Yasmin Zand earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with honors from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She also holds a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University, providing her with a strong scientific foundation that supports her evidence-based approach to patient care.
She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency through NYU Langone, where she treated patients throughout the San Diego community. During her residency, Dr. Zand gained extensive experience providing comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, including children and individuals with special healthcare needs, while refining her skills in advanced restorative and preventive dentistry.
Service has always been an important part of Dr. Zand's career. She volunteered with Global Brigades in Panama, providing essential dental care to underserved communities, and served as Treasurer of the prestigious Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society, recognizing both her academic achievement and leadership.
Dr. Zand is committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest advances in dentistry. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Meet Averie
As Director, Averie is a highly versatile professional passionate about connecting patients with life-changing dental implant solutions. She is responsible for patient-focused marketing, expanding and diversifying financing solutions, and training and overseeing dental implant and Invisalign consultants. Her commitment to providing accurate, transparent information helps patients make informed decisions about their care.
Averie holds a degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire, which has shaped her ability to build meaningful relationships and create a welcoming, personalized patient experience. Known for her approachable personality and genuine enthusiasm, she has always been passionate about understanding people and building authentic connections.
She enjoys fostering strong relationships with both patients and the clinical team, and is committed to ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their treatment journey. Her goal is to create an experience built on trust, communication, and exceptional care.
Originally from New Hampshire, Averie brings a true go-getter spirit to everything she does. Outside the office, she enjoys running, skiing, hiking, travel, and film photography. Above all, she values authentic connections and believes exceptional patient care begins with strong relationships.
Steph Bischel
Stephanie Bischel has been a valued member of the practice for more than 32 years. Known for her expertise in dental insurance, Steph helps patients navigate their benefits with confidence and ease. Over the years, she has built lasting relationships with patients and is recognized for her warm smile, compassionate nature, and genuine commitment to helping others.
A San Diego resident since the age of three, Steph grew up in the Clairemont community before moving to East County. She cares deeply about both the patients and the team she works alongside, contributing to the welcoming and supportive atmosphere that defines the practice.
Outside of the office, Steph is a dedicated supporter of the San Diego Wave FC and attends every home match. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring new adventures with her beloved pups, and making memories with her loved ones. Her passion for connecting with people and her dedication to patient care continue to make her an integral part of the practice.
